Bret Michaels' body has really gone through the ringer this year. Last week, the singer had heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart that was discovered after he had a brain hemorrhage last May.

While recovering from heart surgery, Michaels suffered a massive dip in his blood pressure, according to People. While the blood pressure drop was certainly a scare, the doctor isolated the cause. The 47-year-old Poison frontman is now doing better. He remains at home in Arizona, focusing on recuperating and getting back to full strength.

"Bret suffered no setbacks and is fine. It's always good for patients to be evaluated when they're not feeling well," said Dr. Mansour Assar, an interventional cardiologist.
