Bleeding Fist: ‘We Are the Ugliest, Most Disgusting, Drunken Black Metal Band’

Bleeding Fist have catapulted into the underground metal scene's consciousness from Slovenia – a sleepy little country located in central Europe – and lay claim being the blackest of the black when it comes to creating a savage, violent storm of metal.

As for Slovenia, there is a metal scene, albeit underground, there. "There are a lot of good metal bands in Slovenia, but most of them had no ambitions and that's a s---ty thing," guitarist/vocalist Etienne Chelleri told Noisecreep. "Most of them are satisfied with few gigs a year in Slovenia and that's all. Gigs abroad are a taboo for most of them. Underestimation is a big problem of Slovenian bands, too."

Bleeding Fist don't underestimate themselves, though. They like being the ugliest band of their beloved underground. "First of all, we are not another black metal emo boy band, which means that we don't smell good and we are not pretty, long-haired guys. We are probably the ugliest, most disgusting and drunken black metal band. We are not supporters of any moral shit or similar things, as we fully stand for the old, dirty, 'f--- off' black metal spirit, both as Bleeding Fist and as ourselves in the normal life," Chelleri said.

So what makes Bleeding Fist the blackest of the black, besides the bestial fury with which they annihilate their instruments? "We are not playing melodic, depressive shit, which nowadays is a such a cool thing," Chelleri said. "We're not crying of sadness and loneliness. Our music is filled with hate, blasphemy, revenge and we will to fight in order to be the last man standing. Everyone who is asking himself what the hell we are talking about should come on one of our concerts and to taste the real old school attitude which few bands still have. It's that old and ugly black metal feeling which can be compared to f---ing a 60-year-old, drunk junkie bitch."

The band's new album 'Bestial Kruzifix666ion' is due out via Moribund in September.
