Davey Havok and Jade Puget of AFI are resurrecting Blaqk Audio, their dark dance music side project. They will drop the 12-track Bright Black Heaven on Sept. 11. The album is inspired by their shared love for classic electronic groups and modern-era dance music. We wouldn't expect anything less from Havok and Puget.

Bright Light Black Heaven will be released via Blaqk Audio's new imprint, Big Death (distributed by Superball Music). You can download a free MP3 of a track called 'Bliss' here.

The complete track list for the album is as follows:

'Cold War'

'Fade To White'

'Faith Healer'

'Deconstructing Gods'

'Everybody's Friends'

'Let's Be Honest'

'With Your Arms Around You'

'Bliss'

'Bon Voyeurs'

'The Witness'

'Say Red'

'Ill-Lit Ships'

Thrice have decided to go on hiatus after 13 years and eight albums. They set sail on a farewell tour last fall. Live audio was recorded at select stops and has been compiled into Anthology, due in October. It will be available in a few configurations, such as digitally, on two CDs, and as a limited edition box set containing four LPs. The CD and LP packages will contain booklets featuring extensive live photos from the tour as well. If you are a Thrice diehard, this release is quite a satisfying send off...for now! The Devil Wears Prada singer Mike Hranica is a collector of vinyl. While he doesn't possess much vintage stuff, he does own an original pressing of Converge's You Fail Me in his collection, on which he dropped 100 bills. HxCx might want to raid his collection for that piece alone. He revealed, "Other than that, I've got some super old Bauhaus' and limited pressings, like when Against Me! put out 'White Crosses,' I got the limited of that. Same with 'Diamond Eyes' from Deftones, just stuff like that. Nothing too obscure." It may not be obscure, but it's some quality shit. [Loudwire]
