"We're really excited for this week. It should be an awesome night for us," Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack tells Noisecreep about the band's upcoming appearance at the Revolver Golden Gods awards show on Wed, April 11 in Los Angeles, Calif. The vocalist should be excited. Black Veil Brides are nominated in the Best Vocalist (Biersack), Best Guitarist (Jinxx and Jake Pitts) and Most Dedicated Fans categories.

Besides being nominated for the three awards, the Brides will be tearing up the Club Nokia stage with a hard rock icon: "We'll be playing a couple Black Veil Brides songs and also a cover of Twisted Sister's "I Wanna Rock" with Dee Snider," says frontman Andy Biersack. "We just got back from Europe and had to learn the song at sound checks, and the way everyone's schedule is looking, we'll only be able to practice the song with Dee the day of the performance. I actually prefer things that way. I like flying by the seat of my pants and keeping things spontaneous on stage."

Noisecreep asked Biersack how the Dee Snider/Black Veil Brides connection first happened: "His daughter, Chey, is in a band [They All Float] and I think that's part of the way he keeps up with the new rock stuff that's happening. So anyway, I met her and Dee at Bamboozle last year and had a great conversation about rock music. He checked us out that day and ever since then has been a champion for Black Veil Brides. They are such a nice family."

"The coolest part for me is that I'm nominated in the Best Vocalist category and so is Sebastian Bach," Biersack tells Noisecreep about the former Skid Row singer and current solo artist. "I was actually at the press conference for the awards and I texted Sebastian to tell him that we had both been nominated and he was very excited about that. The fact that I get to be nominated alongside one of my heroes growing up, and now a good friend of mine, is just such a great feeling. But at the same token, I'm not the kind of person that gets excited just at the notion of my name being on some website. I like the hardware. I want to win the award," laughs the Black Veil Brides mainman.

Speaking of awards, Biersack and company have already scored a few in their few years together: "We've won a few Kerrang! [magazine] awards and actually won a Golden Gods award at last year's show. So I'm looking to add some more hardware to my collection. I'm actually looking at them right now in my kitchen. I just need some more of them to add to the top of my fridge [laughs]. We shall see."

The 2012 Revolver Golden Gods Awards take place tomorrow, April 11, and you can watch it live at this link. The night kicks off with a Black Carpet special, beginning at 6:00PM PST.
