After much anticipation, Black Sabbath are back and rocking an extensive tour of North America. The band, who played their only U.S. date of 2012 at Lollapalooza last August, have toured in other parts of the world in support of their '13' album, but finally set foot on U.S. soil rocking the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Houston's suburbs Thursday night (July 25).

The group opened the evening on a high note, introducing themselves to the audience with the classic song 'War Pigs.' 'Into the Void' (seen below) and 'Under the Sun' kept the energy level up and by the fourth song 'Snowblind' the band was well on their way to delivering a stellar rock performance. Favorites like 'Iron Man' (seen above), 'Fairies Wear Boots' and the show closer 'Paranoid' also made this a night to remember for those in attendance.

The show also provided a showcase for some of their new music, as Ozzy Osbourne and band played their first new track of the night -- 'Age of Reason' -- five songs into the performance. 'End of the Beginning,' the '13' bonus track 'Methademic' and the recent hit single 'God Is Dead?' also worked their way into the opening night set. The full set list from the night can be seen below.

For Black Sabbath, this was supposed to be a reunion of the original lineup, but after drummer Bill Ward bowed out due to a contractual conflict, the band has been performing live with Ozzy Osbourne's longtime drummer Tommy Clufetos behind the kit. For their recent album '13,' Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk handled drumming duties. For remaining dates on the band's North American tour, click here.
