Zakk Wylde's love of the New York Yankees is well known, so Noisecreep took an opportunity to ask the Black Label Society guitarist/frontman his thoughts about this year's AL East race. "It's the usual cast of characters with the Yankees and the Red Sox, but you've also got Tampa Bay creeping in there," he reasoned. "They are so good and have such a young team that they can be a real threat."

In terms of the National League, Wylde said that Moby, one of his stage techs, is a huge Los Angeles Dodgers fan and he is suffering through the team's, well, insufferable season. "We're all busting his balls," Wylde laughed. He also lamented the retirement of Chicago Cubs manager Lou Piniella, a former Yankee himself.

Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society's new album, 'Order of the Black,' which debuted at number four on the Billboard charts the week after it hit store, is out now. The band's upcoming tour, The Black Label Berzerkus, will decimate your town beginning Sept. 21.
