Big B has been a staple of the underground since he first appeared on the scene with 'High Class White Trash,' his debut album. In addition to his music career, he also gained notoriety as a cast member on the A&E television series 'Inked.' The show featured Big B and his work at the Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company in Las Vegas, along with his friend and freestyle motocross superstar Carey Hart.

Although Big B's music has its roots in firmly planted in the rap scene, his fanbase includes everyone from skate punks to modern ska devotees. With this in mind, he'll be part of this summer's Warped Tour. In anticipation of the trek, Big B will be releasing 'Music for Misfits,' a compilation featuring some of the best material from his catalog. Guests on the record include Unwritten Law's Scott Russo, Tech N9ne and House of Pain's Everlast. The album also includes a brand new track called 'Bad Girl,' which Noisecreep is pleased to exclusively premiere today. We recently spoke with Big B about the track and his thoughts on his upcoming Warped Tour appearances.

Listen to 'Bad Girl'

Where did the inspiration for 'Bad Girl' come from?

I wanted to write a song for those ladies that may not fit into the everyday norm. I'm talking about the kind of chick that might not always act like a lady, but still has a heart of gold and knows how to treat her man right.

You have been confirmed for this year's Warped Tour. What do you say to the critics that don't think you fit on a bill with metal and punk acts?

No disrespect, but I feel like I'm more punk than a lot of the bands on the bill. I just do me! I can't worry about changing anything to fit in. I know going into this tour that some people won't be into my music and I'm cool with that. For the people that like what I do, I can only go out and do my best to give them a good show every day. To me music is music; it's all about what you like. You shouldn't have to worry about what other people think or have to dress a certain way just because it's the in thing to do.

'Music for Misfits' features collaborations with Everlast, Scott Russo from Unwritten Law, and Tech N9ne. Tell us a bit about the album and how you would sell it to someone that has never heard Big B before.

The album features a few new songs and along with some tracks from each of my last six records. I wouldn't call it a 'best of' compilation. It's just a great CD to get to know what I do. I've grown musically over the years, but I still have some classic songs on my past albums. This is just an album for new and old fans alike to enjoy and learn a little bit about me and where I come from.
