As if the 2013 Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival wasn't solid enough already, organizers have added the Coldcock Herbal Whiskey Showcase Stage, giving a spotlight to several up-and-coming acts. Leading the way on the Coldcock stage will be charting rockers Beware of Darkness, veteran-filled new band The Dead Daisies and London upstarts Charming Liars.

Beware of Darkness have been steadily climbing the charts with their breakout track 'Howl,' and they just released their debut disc, 'Orthodox.' The Dead Daisies features former INXS vocalist Jon Stevens, Guns N' Roses' Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed, Mink's David Lowy, Thin Lizzy's Marco Mendoza and Divynyls' Charlie Drayton. The group just issued a free four-song EP called 'Man Overboard' via the Rockstar Uproar festival website.

The Charming Liars meanwhile, recently wrapped recording their debut disc, with producers Bob Rock and John Fields. The disc is expected this summer and features the tracks 'Break Away' and 'New Disorder.' There will be additional acts playing the Coldcock Stage that will be revealed at a later date.

As for the remainder of the Uproar lineup, Alice in Chains and Jane's Addiction head up this year's bill. They'll be joined by Coheed & Cambria, Circa Survive, Walking Papers, Danko Jones, Middle Class Rut, New Politics and the Chuck Shaffer Picture Show.

The Uproar Festival launches Aug. 9 and runs through Sept. 15. For ticketing details, check here.
