The nominees for the 56th annual Grammy Awards were revealed late Friday night and the good news is that the metal acts no longer have to share a category with their hard rock brethren. There are five new nominees for the Best Metal Performance category, each representative of various types of metal.

You've got thrash metal favorites Anthrax, providing a more straight-up rock cover of the AC/DC classic, 'T.N.T.' There's metal originators Black Sabbath making a major return with their single 'God Is Dead?' Dream Theater are waving their prog-metal flag proud with 'The Enemy Inside.' Killswitch Engage's 'In Due Time' provided the perfect re-introduction for returning frontman Jesse Leach, and new school met old school when Volbeat invited King Diamond to perform on their single 'Room 24.'

So which of these five songs deserves to win the Best Metal Performance Grammy Award? Even though you don't have a say at the real Grammy Awards, we let you voice your opinion here. Vote for your favorite Grammy-nominated song in the Readers Poll below.
