Austrian blackened death metal vets Belphegor will be returning to North America for the second leg of their tour in support of 2014's Conjuring the Dead. The three week trek will be rounded out by techdeath luminaries Origin as well as Shining's (Sweden) warped brand of black metal and Abigail Williams.

Slated to launch on Aug. 11 in Houston, Texas, the tour will take the four acts out to the West Coast which will then move North into British Columbia before heading to the Midwest and, ultimately, the East Coast working its way from New York down to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, wrapping it up on Sept. 4. Shining will drop off the run after the New York show.

Commenting on their return, Belphegor frontman Helmuth boasted, "I formed a tour with some savage artists for our next North American headlining raid. That was the main goal I had in mind as we planned this project with our booking agent Stephane at Continental USA. This will be Belphegor's 11th run throughout the continent. Be prepared and don't miss these ceremonies."

Belphegor have been hard at work on a successor to Conjuring the Dead and is expected to be released in April of 2017 through Nuclear Blast. Origin will be promoting 2014's Omnipresent, with Shining touting last year's IX - Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends and Abigail Williams promoting their psychedelic, suffocating material from 2015's The Accuser.
