Battlecross are back and ready to rock you with their upcoming album Rise to Power. The disc is due Aug. 21, but luckily you don't have to wait that long for new music. The band has teamed up with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of "Spoiled" off the upcoming release.

With seriously electric riffing, pulse-pushing drumming and an opening primal scream from Gumby Gunther, "Spoiled" gives listeners a jolt right out of the gate. So get ready to headbang as you crank up the song and listen in the player below.

Guitarist Tony Asta tells Loudwire, "'Spoiled' kicks in with a heavy rockin old-school vibe and progresses into a brutal more technical feel. It's also a really fun song to jam. The subject matter and lyrics of 'Spoiled' were inspired by the dependency on modern technology, more specifically the cyber world. An entire generation thrives from its use but does not know what it was like before the internet existed. It is a great tool, although the magnitude of its impact on our everyday lives sometimes gives me the chills. This is the only song I had a hand in writing lyrics for and you can thank the 'phone-gazing zombies' for it."

As stated, "Spoiled" is featured on Battlecross' Rise to Power album. The disc drops on Aug. 21 and you can currently see about putting in your pre-order for the effort at this location. There's also a variety of other Battlecross merchandise available at the site relating to the disc, so browse around and then pick up the album in the format and with whatever additions you want.

Battlecross are currently wrapping up dates with Crowbar and Lord Dying, but will join GWAR and Butcher Babies for a new round of dates kicking off in late August. You can also find them playing Heavy Montreal on Aug. 7 and a few other scattered solo dates. See their full itinerary here.
