Battle Royale: The Pretty Reckless Take Over Top Spot on Video Countdown
With Stryper‘s ‘Sympathy’ retiring and six new entries on the Noisecreep Battle Royale Video Countdown, there was bound to be a shakeup. Who would claim the top spot? It turned out to be The Pretty Reckless and their video for ‘Heaven Knows.’ While The Pretty Reckless led for most of the week, Michael Sweet‘s ‘I’m Not Your Suicide’ briefly claimed the top spot on Thursday before The Pretty Reckless’ fans rallied their clip back to No. 1. ‘I’m Not Your Suicide’ did make a significant jump though, moving from No. 5 last week to No. 2 this week. And placing third was Tom Keifer‘s ‘Solid Ground.’
Elsewhere on the countdown, Shinedown also made a big debut with ‘Through the Ghost,’ which landed at No. 5, one spot behind Korn‘s ‘Spike in My Veins.’ And For Today‘s ‘Break the Cycle’ clip, which also features Memphis May Fire‘s Matty Mullins, climbed from No. 10 last week to No. 6 this week. Meanwhile, two new videos to the voting — Sebastian Bach‘s ‘Temptation’ and Fuel‘s ‘Soul to Preach To’ — finished 11th and 12th, only coming up a few votes shy of the Top 10.
Who will shake things up next week? Videos from Anvil, Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Saliva and Starset enter the voting frenzy. Videos for every song that can be voted on may be seen by clicking on the title in the Battle Royale poll at the upper right of this page (or at the bottom of the post for those voting on mobile devices). You can vote up to once per hour until the next Battle Royale deadline on Friday, April 18 at 11AM ET. Make sure your favorite clip rises to the top.
