Axl Rose has filed a massive $20M suit against Activision, the makers of 'Guitar Hero,' after images of guitarist Slash were used in conjunction with the Guns N' Roses song 'Welcome to the Jungle' in 'Guitar Hero III.' Apparently, one of the original deal's clauses forbids the use of images of Slash, even though he plays on the iconic song. Things must be really ugly between the former bandmates for Rose to be so strict about excluding Slash from being associated with the band's music.

The suit is slated go to trial on January 23rd, 2012.

It's ironic that the suit will move forward in nearly a year, as Activision has already ceased production of new editions of 'Guitar Hero' and shut down the game's developmental unit earlier this year.
