French police may be able to close the book on the case of Axl Rose's missing jewelry. As was previously reported, someone walked off with three of the singer's necklaces after last night's Guns N' Roses show in Paris, and earlier today, a young model returned the $200,000 bounty, according to Blabbermouth.net (via RTL.fr).

The woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, evidently boosted Axl's bling after boozing it up a little too hard. It was only this afternoon, when she finally woke up, that she realized she'd slipped the chains into her purse. She promptly brought them to a police station in Paris, where she's in custody.

No response yet from Axl, who was said to be "furious" after he discovered the jewelry missing. Luckily, he's not the type to hold grudges.
