When it comes to wrestling, is there any music that fits the sport better than heavy metal? If there is, we don't want to know about it! With the WWE's Wrestlemania 32 event fast-approaching, they have announced the theme songs that will be featured in this year's installment. Representing the metal and rock side are Avenged Sevenfold and Motorhead with "Hail to the King" and "Sympathy for the Devil" (Rolling Stones cover) respectively.

"Hail to the King" is the title track off Avenged Sevenfold's most recent album and could not be more fitting for a WWE world champion. The song's lyrics depict graphic violence from medieval royal eras with mass bloodshed and bodies strung up on display as a both a warning and display of power. Motorhead's cover of the Rolling Stones classic "Sympathy for the Devil" comes off their last album, Bad Magic, which was the 22nd and final studio album from the legendary group. The band's ties with the WWE date back to 2002, when composer Jim Johnson wrote "The Game" as the entrance theme song for wrestler Triple H and Motorhead recorded it for their Hammered album.

Wrestlemania 32 will be held on April 3 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, which is also the home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.

Avenged Sevenfold have been hard at work on their next record, which will be the first to feature Brooks Wackerman, the former longtime drummer for punk icons Bad Religion. Back in December of 2015, guitarist Zacky Vengeance clued fans in on how the material was shaping up, stating, “It’s pretty much completely aggro. It goes in all sorts of aggressive directions and melodic directions. It has a lot of metal elements that we grew up loving. And tons of melody. It’s hard to say. At this point the only word that would describe it is ‘aggro.’”

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Motorhead, whose glorious album streak came to an end with the death of Lemmy Kilmister in late December. His bandmates have remained active as guitarist Phil Campbell's All Starr Band continues to play and the group just released a surprising cover. They chose to record their own version of Tina Turner's classic "Nutbush City Limits" which can be heard below. The band consists of Campbell and his three sons and the cover speaks to the dirty, rock 'n' roll ethos of Motorhead's music, making for a good fit with Campbell's loose, slack-wristed, bluesy playing. Meanwhile, drummer Mikkey Dee recently signed on to sit behind the kit for Thin Lizzy on their 2016 touring.
