Avenged Sevenfold recently announced that they wanted to play a free show to honor their fans and now the band have unveiled the specifics of the how, when and where it will go down.

The show will take place Aug. 26 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and is the band's way of saying thank you to their loyal fans while promoting the release of their new album, 'Hail to the King,' which arrives in stores everywhere the following day.

There will be a one ticket per person limit and the tickets are non-transferrable. There are several options for how fans can obtain their free tickets. Beginning next Monday (Aug. 19), fans can tune into local radio station KROQ for their chance to win.

The second option would be to obtain tickets from one of two Orange County locations -- the Slide Bar in Fullerton (122 E. Commonwealth Ave.) and Johnny's Saloon in Huntington Beach (17428 Beach Boulevard) -- on Aug. 22. Lineups begin at 3PM at each location with a limited quantity of tickets being given away at 4PM on a first-come, first-served basis.

The third option will allow fans in the Los Angeles area to attempt to get tickets at the Hollywood Palladium box office on Aug. 23. Lineups start at 3PM, with the tickets being given away at 5PM and it should be noted that those attempting to get tickets at the venue will not be allowed to line up prior to 3PM.

Avenged Sevenfold are currently promoting the title track from 'Hail to the King,' and will be playing that single along with other cuts from the new album on their 2013 fall trek. Deftones and Ghost B.C. will provide support on the fall tour dates.
