Chad Childers has been a music lover since his parents dragged him along to an Aerosmith/Bachman Turner Overdrive show as an infant. His love of music turned into a career in the mid-90s when he left a job in the Midwest as a librarian and moved to California to intern for Westwood One Radio. That led to work researching for Casey Kasem's countdown shows, writing and producing the alternative and active rock-related prep services SpinFax, The Fax, and Rip, Read and Rock as well as doing interviews across all music and entertainment formats.

Anthrax’s Scott Ian Defends KISS Decision to Not Reunite Original Lineup at Rock Hall Induction

KISS will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this spring, but much to the dismay of many fans, the group has decided not to perform at the event. In a recent statement, the band revealed that rather than worry which lineups and members are represented during a performance, they've instead decided to focus on the induction. While the move may not make all of KISS' fanbase happy, Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian, a longtime fan of the group, says he understands the reasoning for it.
