We're at Illusion Motorsports in Orange County, Calif., where famed bike builder and lead guitarist of Attika 7, Rusty Coones, is giving Noisecreep a firsthand tour of the amazing space. Here is where the towering Coones makes heavy metal dreams come true. It's like motorcycle heaven. He shows us an $80,000 bike he's creating for a customer. Up on the wall is a chopper that was a gift from Jesse James.

Then we're met by Evan Seinfeld, the legendary hardcore/metal howler formerly of Biohazard, who now fronts Attika 7. We climb upstairs to the band's rehearsal space, where the OTHER heavy metal dreams true.

The elevated space, like a festival stage, looks over an audience of motorcycles on this cool summer evening. But the band plays the occasional gig here and fills the place with fans. Tonight, on the eve of the release of their debut album, Blood of My Enemies, the guys are talking about how the album and how the future of the band might evolve.

They're excited. And they should be. The album, recorded with renowned producer Mudrock (Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack) is a searing, soaring metallic epic that's as intense and fiery as it is catchy. It crunches and crawls through such killer tracks as "Crackerman," "All or Nothing" and "Devil's Daughter" – dark anthems abound with each fresh listen.

It started with songs written by Coones while he was serving prison time (at the infamous pen Attica among other places) for helping to facilitate a drug score (and it was a rap thought by many to be unfair, thus resulting in the memorable 'Free Rusty' campaign). He's come out a clean man with a focus – on motorcycles, and the music that his band creates. Attika 7, which also features guitarist Zach Broderick (formerly with Nonpoint), drummer Tommy Holt (ex-UPO) and legendary Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder, is ready to take on the world.
