Asking Alexandria have seen their star rise in recent years and just as the band start the promotional cycle for their upcoming 'From Death to Destiny' album, they'll make an appearance on the popular 'Guitar Center Sessions' program with host Nic Harcourt.

The band's appearance comes on this Friday's (July 12) episode on DirecTV's Audience Network (channel 239), and is part of the current season that has already featured the Smashing Pumpkins, Frank Turner and Alkaline Trio among others.

The special will not only feature musical performances from Asking Alexandria, but also an interview with Harcourt. In the exclusive sneak preview clip seen above, the band members discuss the connection made with their audience through music.

Frontman Danny Worsnop explains, "When a musician goes in and writes a song that is really honest and it's just straight from the heart, it's hard for people not to connect with it in some kind of way. In the end, we're all here on this big circle we call earth and our lives can't be that far apart. Even in small parts of it, we can all connect with something everyone else is going through."

Asking Alexandria's 'From Death to Destiny' album is due Aug. 6. It features the singles 'Run Free' and 'The Death of Me,' and can be pre-ordered here. The band's 'Guitar Center Sessions' performance airs at 9PM ET / 10PM PT this Friday (July 12) on DirecTV's Audience Network (channel 239).
