New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert was electrocuted by a faultily wired microphone on Wednesday night (March 27) in Anaheim, California. The band was recording its first live album when Gilbert collapsed. He was hospitalized and then released. [WENN]

Battlecross drummer Mike Kreger has quit the band. He is leaving to focus on other opportunities and personal matters. Journeyman drummer Kevin Talley will step in temporarily and play drums from the ‘Cross at both the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest on April 19 and the Orion Music and More Festival in June.
