As I Lay Dying singer Tim Lambesis, who also fronts the Arnold Schwarzenegger parody metal band Austrian Death Machine, was back in court today (June 26).

The tattooed frontman learned that his next court date is set for Sept. 16, according to the San Diego Reader.

Lambesis is currently free after paying a non-refundable $160,000 fee to a bail bondsman after being held in custody for 24 days. His bail was set at $2 million, reduced from the initial $3 million.

He stands accused of a murder-for-hire plot against his estranged wife Meggan, with whom he adopted three children from Ethiopia. It is believed that their divorce could be finalized by the time Lambesis' next court date arrives. She filed to end the eight-year marriage in September of last year.

The singer, 32, was arrested on May 7 after he allegedly sought the services of a hitman to murder his wife. The hitman was actually an undercover cop. The prosecutor claims that Lambesis forked over cash and the gate codes to his wife's residence so that this associate could complete the hit.

Lambesis has plead not guilty to solicitation to commit murder, a felony that carries a maximum of nine years in prison.
