Apex FestAnnihilvs Power Electronix and Chronic Youth, as they write on their blog, "in conjunction with a ton of other shadowy organizations" are presenting this November's installment of the biannual Apex Festival in New York City.

The super underground fest is set to take place on Nov. 13 and 14 at Chashama Arts on East 42nd Street, a small venue that only holds 50 people at a time. The lineup for the two days of darkness features an affluent amount of sonic experimentation like Hecate, a Berlin-based one-woman black/death/electronic soundscapist who is best known for working with prolific IDM DJ Venetian Snares.

Other notable performers include the blackened ambiance of Aderlating from the Netherlands, the moody meddle of Brooklynites Unearthly Trance and minimalistic two-piece punk/metal hybrid the Austerity Program, just to name a few.

There is also a lengthy list of DJs spinning darkness in between sets, including New York's own underground aficionados, Chronic Youth, who promise, "This should be one brooding good time." To ensure fan happiness, the festival has upped the ante by also giving away a free shirt and poster with every ticket purchase.
