The revival surrounding Canadian metal act Anvil continues, as the band has signed a deal with The End Records, which is also home to the likes of Danzig.

As we reported earlier this year, the band is recording 'Juggernaut of Justice' at Studio 606 in California, which is the facility owned and operated by Dave Grohl. Producer Bob Marlette -- who has worked with everyone from Black Sabbath to Atreyu to Alice Cooper -- is twiddling the knobs for the record, which is slated for a spring 2011 release.

If you can't wait till the spring or are eager to learn more about Anvil, you can watch 'Anvil! The Story of Anvil,' which came out last year. Additionally, your friends at The End will satisfy your urges by releasing the definitive Anvil anthology before the new album drops. This collection will be comprised of classics, some surprises and will showcase the band's entire career spanning back to their humble beginnings in 1978. It's all the Anvil you could ever want, encased in one set.

Vocalist/guitarist Steve "Lips" Kudlow said, "I must say that this is by far the best Anvil ever. There will be a few new surprises including [bassist Glenn Five's] first lead vocals in Anvil's history. The production that Bob Marlette has done far surpasses anything we've done in the past. The excitement within the band is over the top and we can't wait to unleash this amazing CD to the fans."

Anvil are already planning a world tour for 2011 in support of 'Juggernaut of Justice.'
