Anthrax bassist Frank Bello has a 52-karat heart. The bassist partnered with Fender and donated electric basses and amps to 15 public schools for the Little Kids Rock organization, a group whose goal is to teach children how to play rock music! Bello even spent time with the kids at PS 11 in the Bronx, N.Y., answering kids' questions and playing some of their favorite songs with them.

Bello told Noisecreep, "When I was a kid in school, playing music made me feel like I could accomplish anything if I worked at it. I still feel like that. By donating these basses and amps with Fender, I hope to inspire kids in school to learn how to play and reach for their dreams."

Bello said playing at PS 11 was "a blast" as he jammed on 'Wait 'Til the Midnight Hour' and 'Second That Emotion' with the kids. How many of you want to bet that Bello just influenced several aspiring bassists that we will probably be writing about one day here on Noisecreep?
