Anew Revolution won't be making like school kids and taking the summer off. The band, widely known for road dogging it and always suffering through vehicular mishaps, will spend the hot months of July and August on the Under the Skin of Angels tour, performing alongside Filter, Saliva, and Heart Set Self Destruct.

"We've toured like crazy over the last 12 months with bands like Taproot, Hellyeah, Volbeat, Sevendust, 10 Years, Ill Nino, and Drowning Pool, and now we have this killer tour lined up," bassist Frank Salvaggio recently told Noisecreep. "We've also recently begun writing some new music, and we'll probably work on it more on the road this summer and after the USA tour. No rest for the wicked."

ANR have been profiled on CNN for touring through blizzards and dealing with constant issues with their van and fixing them on their own. When jokingly asked of they have had any new van mishaps, Salvaggio said, "Actually, we always have van mishaps. We broke the U-Bolt on the trailer axle, luckily as we rounding into a Wendy's parking lot. Rob, our drummer and resident mechanic, got it fixed in time for us to get to our show with Drowning Pool at the Rave in Milwaukee. And we also recently found out that we need a new transmission on the van after 275,000 miles in three years. Ah, life on the road!"

Despite needing a new transmission after all that wear and tear, maintaining a functioning air conditioning system should be of utmost priority for a sweltering summer tour. Given Anew Revolution's luck, one would wager that that their AC will break at least once! Salvaggio and his cohorts will be prepared, though! "You suck it up, turn the heat up and rock out to some Slayer," Salvaggio joked. "Here's a true story. We once blew the AC and radiator on the way to Phoenix for a show with Sevendust a few years ago. We drove to Phoenix in the 110-degree desert weather with the heat on to cool the engine, and because we had no time to fix it, we did it again the next day to get to LA from Phoenix in the same temperature. Yup, we made both shows, that's how we roll!"

Nothing -- not broken U-Bolts, not 275,000 vehicle miles and not even driving in 110-degree heat with no AC in the desert -- can stop Anew Revolution from ruling the road.
