Alternative Press continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary of exposing the youth culture to the best new bands/musicians/artists/culture dictators out there. The magazine -- which has always been extremely supportive of the metal genre with its coverage -- will offer its second group art exhibition of 2010.

In addition to contributions from members of Marilyn Manson, My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, some other key metal-friendly artists that have contributed work to the event include Tool's Adam Jones, the Bronx's Joby J. Ford, Nora's Matt "Portland" Hay, Every Time I Die's Jordan Buckley and Atreyu's Marc "Porter" McKnight.

The gallery collection will also feature AP's vast archives, photographs, milestones and memoirs. We remember when AP festooned its covers with Insane Clown Posse, Slipknot and Coal Chamber, so don't stick your nose up and assume that an AP art exhibition will be about pop punk and emo bands only.

The second exhibit will take place at Sloan Fine Art in New York City from Oct. 21 through Oct. 23.
