Alter Bridge just posted their first in-studio video, which follows the creation of the song 'Uninvited' from their forthcoming 'Fortress' album.

In the short clip, singer Myles Kennedy is shown in the live room, headphones on, as well as sunglasses and hoodie, singing some lyrics. “I've got my sound now; that was the best one you’re done -- one more,” says the voice operating the board, presumably producer Elvis Baskette.

The video also shows guitarist Mark Tremonti in the control room riffing hard with the camera zooming in on his hands. There’s also a humorous shot of Myles burping after taking a drink from a water bottle. The clip ends with a shot of the ‘Fortress’ album cover and the words “October 8 -- North America September 30 -- Rest of World”.

Tremonti recently spoke with Billboard and said the band -- which also features Creed bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips -- “is still proving ourselves and still gaining new fans."

He goes on to say, "It's an exciting record, top to bottom. It's got a lot of energy. There's only two songs that aren't really big rockers and are more midtempo, and two others that could be considered more epic-y but still have a really big rock sound.

“We pushed ourselves really hard to try and improve our sound with it and improve our boundaries. I know I say that on every record we do, but this time we feel like it was time we pushed even further," says Tremonti. "Elvis (Baskette), our producer, thinks it's our best-sounding record and could be the best thing we've ever done. When he says something like that ... I mean, you love the songs because you've written them, but it's good to hear that positive outside perspective as well."

Alter Bridge has a one-off U.S. date Oct. 4 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. and they start a month-long European tour Oct. 16 in Nottingham, U.K..
