Alter Bridge Unveil Epic Animated ‘Cry of Achilles’ Video

Alter Bridge are stepping up with an epic new video for their recent single ‘Cry of Achilles.’ The band members stepped aside for the video, choosing to tell a full-on animated tale instead of appearing the clip.

For the ‘Cry of Achilles’ video, the band teamed with SiLee films via Genero to create the clip. It centers on a village seemingly under attack from an approaching dark black creature. As the citizens rally, the rulers have a weapon of their own — a giant fighting warrior controlled by members of the family. But fighting the demon may prove to be the wrong move. Watch as it all plays out in the intricately crafted clip above.

‘Cry of Achilles’ comes from the band’s ‘Fortress’ album, which previously spawned the single ‘Addicted to Pain.’ The band will be promoting the album some more when they hit the road this fall for tour dates. The group just announced a U.S. tour taking place in October. See where they’re playing here.
