Album Art of the Week: Pulling Teeth – ‘Paranoid Delusions, Paradise Illusions’

There's a decent history of optical illusions and double meanings in fine art, and I'm not just talking about those elusive-to-master Magic Eye stereographics.

Jeff Beckman of Left For Dead fame plays on the duality of Pulling Teeth's 'Paranoid Delusions, Paradise Illusions' by incorporating a holographic image of the same basic composition but in different, wildly opposite scenarios. A serene, forested landscape populated solely by a languishing maiden turns into a nightmarish, zombiefied nuclear scenario.

The LP cover will sport a 12" by 12" lenticular hologram of the two pieces of art.
