Bad Brains guitarist Dr. Know and bassist Darryl Jenifer have conspired to create Fire Burn Babylon Hardcore Hot Sauce. We know, that's a mouthful, in more ways than one. The spicy, small-batch, scotch bonnet-based sauce was born of their longtime love of Caribbean-soul, yard style cooking.

"Fire Babylon is a perfect blend of heat and sweet, with the "Secret 77" recipe," Jenifer said. "Dr. Know and I have returned to Hot Sauce Heaven with this roots, rock, rubba dub style hot sauce." Who's mouth is watering?

The condiment is available here, along with rare, numbered and signed prints of the bottle's label, designed by Shepard Fairey, and limited edition Into the Future merchandise. Into the Future is the band's most recent album, featuring the classic lineup, including HR and Earl Hudson. [Via Press Release]

Warbeast are dedicating their upcoming tour with Down to the memory of late Ministry and Rigor Mortis guitarist Mike Scaccia, who passed away while performing last week. Warbeast vocalist Bruce Corbitt, who was in Rigor Mortis with Scaccia, stated, "Mike Scaccia left this Earth doing what he loved to do. Tragically, the music world has lost an extremely talented, gifted and unique guitar virtuoso. His music and his legend will live on forever. But a loving husband, father, son and brother can never be replaced.

"Mike would be overwhelmed with this outpouring of emotion that has risen from his passing, but he would mainly be proud of the enormous support that everyone has shown towards his family during this devastating time in their lives.

"We can and we will make sure that Mike's wife and his kids are taken care of. So, I would like to ask anyone that can make a donation, big or small, do it now. Please understand that this is what would mean the most to Mike."

Besides the fundraiser, the band, under the advice of Phil Anselmo of Down/Pantera and their label, Housecore, Warbeast have written some musical material about Scaccia. In fact, they've written two songs. One song about Corbitt's late brother Jeff, whom he has mentioned many times publicly. The other will be a song written about Scaccia. The two songs will be released together with a picture of Corbitt on one side and a picture of Scaccia on the other.

Lastly, Sarah Scaccia, Mike's daughter, is assembling a book to honor her dad. Anyone with personal stories about her father should send an email to sjska21@gmail.com. She will compile them together for the book.
