Adam Lambert Covers Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’ — Video

There's blasphemy and then there's blasphemy. Androgynous former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert covered Metallica's monster hit, 'Enter Sandman,' in concert in New Zealand recently. Encased in skintight leather pants and slathered with loads of black eyeliner, Lambert shakes his money maker and proceeds to gyrate, performing most of the song while on his knees.

I can only imagine how James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich would react to this video of Lambert butchering their bruising anthem. No disrespect to Lambert, who seems like a good enough guy, but some metal songs need to remain as is, and 'Enter Sandman' is one of them.
