Three Days Grace frontman Adam Gontier, whose albums have sold more than two million copies in the U.S., also has a soft-spot for Michael Jackson.

"I was very shocked to hear about Michael Jackson's passing," he told Noisecreep. "He was a pioneer, and icon and a legend. I remember buying 'Thriller' when I was pretty young. I used to sit in my room and sing along with it. It was a brilliant record. One of my all time favorites for sure. He's done so much for music, and it's certainly a tragic loss."

Michael Jackson died Thursday in Los Angeles, at the age of 50.
