It's been a triumphant year for former KISS guitarist Ace Frehley. The musician entered 2014 with the knowledge that he'd be going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the latter part of his year has been focused on his new 'Space Invader' solo album.

Frehley sat down for an interview with Loudwire about the new disc and he shares some insights on the creation of 'Space Invader,' the role his fiancée played on his creative work and how his guitar playing has evolved over the years.

He also teased a potential future behind the board as well, adding, "I'd love to start producing other bands now. I could share all that knowledge that I've learned over the last 40 years or so now with a young group. Put 'em under my wing and I'll produce a record."

Check out the Loudwire chat with Ace Frehley in the video above and be sure to pick up 'Space Invader' at either iTunes or Amazon.
