Accept Utilize Picturesque Scenery for New ‘Stampede’ Video

have stepped up with some pretty picturesque views in their epic new video ‘Stampede’ (watch above). The song is the opening track from the legendary band’s upcoming album ‘Blind Rage,’ set to be released Aug. 19, and the group found some pretty amazing scenery to use as the backdrop of their video for the track.

The song is vintage Accept, with great guitar work from Wolf Hoffmann and Herman Frank and powerful vocals from Mark Tornillo. This is Tornillo’s third Accept album since joining the band in 2009.

The ‘Stampede’ video was filmed at Devil’s Punchbowl in the high desert of California. It features shots of the band with mountains and interesting sandstone formations in the background, and also individual shots of various band members standing on the tops of cliffs and other places not recommended for those afraid of heights. The clip was directed by Greg Aronowitz (‘Batman & Robin,’ ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’), who provides a cinematic touch utilizing interesting lighting along with the scenery.

Accept will play the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany July 31. They’ll also kick off the touring cycle for ‘Blind Rage’ with four U.S. shows beginning Sept. 11 in Solana Beach, Calif. before heading off to Europe, Japan and Australia. For all of their tour dates, go here.
