Since profits made from the CD medium have largely been replaced by merchandise like T-shirts, totes, belts and boy shorts, it should shock no one that Aussie legends AC/DC will enter the trading card market. The 'High Voltage' card set is due out in November, and the 100-card base set covers everything from the band's humble beginning in 1973 all the way up through their current tour in support of the best-selling 'Black Ice' album.

The subsets include 'It's a Long Way to the Top,' 'Back in Black,' 'Thunderstruck' and 'Rock 'N Roll Train.' Autographed memorabilia will also be included.

AC/DC trading cards will scintillate true collectors and die-hard fans. I can't help but wonder if there will be a card featuring guitarist Angus Young's naked buttocks, since the schoolboy outfit-wearing axeman is famous for mooning fans while playing live.
