A Day to Remember Bassist Played Ping Pong With Olympians — ‘Creep Show
Gino DePinto, AOL
When A Day to Remember bassist Josh Woodard and singer Jeremy McKinnon popped by the ”Creep Show’ for a chat before the release of their new album, ‘What Separates Me From You,’ secrets were revealed.
One minute into this chat, Woodard revealed — much to McKinnon’s shock, surprise and awe — that he was part of the Ocala Dragons, a ping pong league that competed in tournaments and featured ex-Olympians and folks in their 50s and 60s among its ranks. Woodard even copped to the fact that his team wore polo shirts with a dragon on them. He also boldly and brazenly claimed that he could beat anyone in the building a ping pong.
McKinnon was floored by the revelation; he was surprised that he never knew his bandmate played ping pong on such an advanced level and was emphatic that he would have watched the tourneys and supported his friend in this endeavor.
At the 3:58 mark, Woodard also talks about grappling, as he practices jujitsu and even tested out moves on his bandmates
ADTR’s ‘What Separates Me From You’ is out Nov. 16.
