If you haven't seen the clip for 'I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of' by A Day to Remember, then you're really missing out. Around three minutes of pure hilarity, the Floridians admit they were going more for comedy than for serious rocking.

"We chose to make the video a kickball theme to make the video as ridiculous as possible," explained A Day to Remember bassist Josh Woodard to Noisecreep. "It was an idea that our friend came up with a while ago, and we tweaked it to make it a really funny video. It's just another installment of silliness from the ADTR camp."

Silly indeed, with rockers challenging kids on the kickball field during a battle royale for all the marbles. Yes, there is blood. Yes, there are hot cheerleaders ... and yes, there's a cameo by Mike Hranica of the Devil Wears Prada.

Continues Woodard, "We decided to have Mike fly down to be a part of the video shoot, as he has a big part in the song. It just made sense to have him come down to Florida to shoot and perform his part of the song. We really feel it adds to the video and think the kids loved having him be a part of it."

Some of the kids took a beating on film, but don't worry -- the guys in A Day to Remember are not harmful brutes. "I don't think there was any actual blood shed during the shoot. I'm sure the little guy I got to choke-slam in the video didn't particularly like getting lifted up and slammed down multiple times," laughs Woodard. "He was a trooper though. It was a really fun and harmless shoot."

All told, it took the band around 12 hours of filming to get the video just right. 'I'm Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of' is from the 2009 release 'Homesick.' You can catch A Day to Remember on tour this spring.
