Southern California's metalcore favorites Of Mice & Men recently hit the road with Woe, Is Me, Texas in July, Volumes and Capture the Crown.

Led by Austin Carlile, OF&M has been riding a new wave of intense popularity the last few months as evidenced by how fast most of the shows on this tour are selling out. In many cities it is become an essentially impossible ticket to land. On Friday, Jan. 18, a huge throng of fans wrapped its way around the House of Blues Hollywood in anticipation of OF&M's hometown show.

The night kicked off with Australia's Capture the Crown, who Noisecreep spoke with recently. As they told us, they are huge Austin Carlile fans and consider it a true honor to be on this bill. The Aussies played a tight well-written received set, as did Volumes.

Texas in July and Woe, Is Me were given longer sets and as fired up as both bands got the crowd, simply by looking at the sea of t-shirts seen throughout the venue, this was a mob that was waiting for the headliner.

Taking the stage just after 10:30 PM, OM&M was warmly welcomed as they stormed in with "O.G. Loko" from their album, The Flood.

Storming through a ferocious 14-song set list, OF&M delivered a pounding, relentless show that more than satisfied the diehards. Last summer, the band reissued The Flood and included four bonus tracks. On this tour, they're playing all four songs, which the crowd seemed to eat up.

OF&M recently announced their next tour which will be in support of A Day to Remember. But for right now, they are headliners in their own right, and seem to be on the verge of breaking out in an even bigger way. As tight as the band is, it has to be mentioned that it's the charisma of the frontman, Carlile, that seems to pull everyone in in a big way. If the pre-show meet and greet line is any indication, then Carlile's star is clearly on the rise.
