It's Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider! The iconic 57-year-old singer was born in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., but he was raised in Baldwin, Long Island. He cut his teeth in the club scene there and joined TS in 1976. After years of slugging it out in the European market, the band finally broke big in the States with their 1984 landmark Stay Hungry album.

In 1985, at the height of the band's mainstream fame, Twisted Sister appeared in the film Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Tim Burton's directorial debut. The band is seen performing their song "Burn In Hell" in one of the cult classic's scenes.

Snider will be releasing an album of Broadway standards on May 8 called Dee Does Broadway. It features guest appearances from pop icon Cyndi Lauper, Clay Aiken, Mark Wood of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Dee's oldest son, Jesse "Blaze" Snider.

If that weren't already enough, Snider currently co-stars in a new FEARnet horror-comedy called Holliston. Check out a recent interview the singer did with Snakkle about the show!
