Van Halen 2012 Tour Dates
After playing an intimate and rare club show last night in New York City, Van Halen's official website released the band's long-awaited 2012 tour dates.
Kicking off in Louisville, Ky., and ending in New Orleans on June 26, the 45-date trek will feature the lineup of David Lee Roth (vocals), Alex Van Halen (drums), Wolfgang Van Halen (bass), and Eddie Van Halen (guitars).
The band will be out in support of 'A Different Kind of Truth,' Van Halen's 12th studio album, and the first featuring Roth on vocals since '1984.' The Southern California kingpins will release 'Tattoo,' the album's first single, next Tuesday, Jan. 10.
Late last year, Van Halen signed a new recording contract with Interscope Records. The group had previously been signed to Warner Bros. Records since the late '70s.
