Behind even the angriest, loudest headbanger man is a strong woman. Some of our favorite heavy metal icons are softened -- even if just a little bit -- by the love and support of a lady. In honor of Valentine's Day, Noisecreep is celebrating our favorite metal couples. Some are still making a beautiful noise together (onstage, that is), and some of these relationships are long in the rear view. Whatever the case, we basked in some of their glow from afar.
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne

The First Couple of Metal have stayed together for better or for worse; through her cancer, his substance abuse, their reality show. But look out if you cross Ma Osbourne, who is fiercely protective of her brood -- especially her man. While some argue that she wears the leather pants in the relationship, Ozzy and Sharon fit each other.
Max and Gloria Cavalera

Max and Gloria are another couple that defied the odds of successfully mixing business and pleasure in the metal community. She has been happily managing Max's career through a myriad of his projects, namely Sepultura, Soulfly and the Cavalera Conspiracy. Marriage is a business, and their musical business is part of their marriage.
Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee

They've long since divorced -- after a quickie wedding on the beach in 1995 -- but Pam and Tommy are forever ingrained in our brains, thanks to the home video that was stolen from their vaults. This union proved that rock guys always get the hottest girls.

Rob Zombie and wife Sheri Moon are quite the horror-fashion pair. He's a audio/visual master, mixing B-horror-movie kitsch with bone-annihilating riffs. She's a scream queen who is also a fashion designer. She has also guest-starred in films and TV episodes her husband has directed. They've got that metal and marriage thing down to a science.
Bobby "Blitz" and Annette Ellsworth

The Overkill frontman and his wife, Annette, met at Dynamo overseas in 1999, and they are still going strong today. They run a Belgian chocolate shop in New York state. Thrash, chocolate, love: Those are three of life's simplest treasures and pleasures.
Heather Locklear and Tommy Lee

At the height of Mötley Crüe's badass days in the '80s -- and long before Pamela Anderson was discovered on a JumboTron -- drummer Tommy Lee was tamed by another famous TV star: Heather Locklear. With roles on 'T.J. Hooker' and 'Dynasty,' Locklear was a prime-time sweetheart who showed she didn't care what her A-list peers thought by wedding one of rock's biggest bad boys.

She appeared in the 'Stringwray' video from the band's last album, 'Cult of Static,' and the happy couple demonstrates that metal and porn will always be connected and can lead to love.

Metal is rebellious, porn is rebellious, and through it all, the Biohazard singer/bassist and his porn star girlfriend are as in love as ever. Seinfeld is quite possibly the metal scene's first rock star/porn star, and Fuentes is right there with him, supporting him all the way.

Gene Simmons has enjoyed more conquests than an NBA player. Only in the hard rock world can a man who wears copious amounts of makeup and seven-inch platform heels bed thousands upon thousands of women. Gene is a hero among men, that's for sure.

The singer, who was associated with Prince, and the Mötley Crüe bassist dated during the drug-addled '80s. They became even more memorable when she became born again, and they offered conflicting reports of their time together in his book. The relationship didn't last, but the memory remains -- in print, at least.
