Back on the road in February and Skeletonwitch's 12 upcoming tour dates were just reported, taking place around the eastern half of the U.S. Shortly after releasing their third studio album, 'Breathing the Fire,' in September, the band shot a bad-ass video for 'Repulsive Salvation,' which left its fans salivating for more. They were also a highlight at last year's Scion Metal Fest in Atlanta.

Joining them will be Howl, who are working on a full-length album for Relapse at the moment. Also in tow will be Iron Age, who are fresh off a tour with Baroness. Some of the dates will also include Doomriders and Black Tusk -- a brutal lineup, for sure.

Skeletonwitch made a lasting impression with 'Beyond the Permafrost' in 2007, and their recent follow-up came with heavy expectations. 'Breathing the Fire' was generally greeted with open arms, with many critics saying they had definitely grown and were developing a hybrid sound all their own.
